Does this mean Ward is for sure switching back to CB??

Also Welch is gonna start his freshman year + a transfer guy???

Probably so. I can’t remember us ever being this thin at corner.

Ward is more of an inside/slot corner.

He might have to move back to outside corner though.

I like ward more at slot corner than i do at safety. He can't hold up in the run game.

Or Ward in either of those spots. We'll have to wait for Spring Practice.
Let's remember we have what was supposed to be a bad arse Safety room with Ryan, Toles, Davis, Langlois, Burns, and hopefully Matthews - who is supposed to be a day one starter.

We were thin at corner just three years ago when we missed out on Patrick Surtain and signed the CB from Nichols

I feel like we've been thin at corner since 2017.

We had to rely on the transfer Alexander a lot in 2018.

This isn't a new issue. It's crazy how Ed bungled this
