Governing institution who's partly to blame for the mess like NCAA who only care about money is holding on to dear life to survive a new age of ball? Color me shocked.

I think it just shows how little leadership there is on a global scale. Everyone at the top in important positions (colleges, companies, politics, you name it) just follows along with the mob so they don't hurt anyone's feelings and people don't dislike them.

If Saban was still in the league, and he did what Kiffen is doing, is there any world where the SEC head office acts like this? frick no.

Intellectually dishonest statement.

I think it’s a lot more sinister than that.

The SEC, which really should be viewed as a mechanism of its members is placing itself as the arbiter of all things within the conference.

This is a power play.

Georgia and Bama run this conference. You need to root against them in every fricking game, even when they play the barn.

I’d say yes this is just another example. The lsu Florida hurricane game was another one, there are a few that over the years they try and push us back down. But this is the most blatant. If there ever proof that Bama gets preferential treatment by the SEC this is it. Bama had a basketball player who actually played games in a professional basketball league and the SEC wasn’t sueing them. Hypocrisy

This, by itself, not counting all the other history, is why I’ve always said the SEC offices CANNOT be located in a major program’s neighborhood.

They should be mandated to move to Nashville (Vandy)
