Does ND have better athletes on defense than we do?

The answer is no. It’s about coaching. Something we don’t possess. Not having Freeman really hurts and is going to be a big reason why we go 6-6 instead of something like 10-2.

No. Having Ed as the coach is gonna be the biggest reason why.
Freeman interviewed with Ed and turned down LSU afterwards. Pretty easy to conclude he wasn’t impressed

One thing ND does well is recruit the trenches- especially OL. We have better skill players but that doesn’t mean shite if you can’t win either line of scrimmage

Better LBs
I think our inability to sustain drives and put up points wore our DL out. You get mentally discouraged because the offense isn’t playing well and it eventually effects you physically.

They have better players based on what I am seeing. LSU's defense is heartless, dickless, worthless.
