Does LSU have a 'pitchout' running play in the playbook?

and does LSU have a RB that can catch the pitchout out just toss over the approaching defenders to a TE for a TD. Just a suggestion, but run the pitchout before you run the pitchout pass.
It has served LSU well in the past. I have no idea why LSU refuses to run outside the tackles. Lousy offense imo.

I brought this up in another thread.

Goodwin and Emery need outside stretch plays and tosses

Which is the speciality of Jeff Grimes. Who probably would have come with Aranda.

Do the LSU coaches still teach the football 101 class?

Denbrock has left a lot to be desired so far especially with the running game.

Toss Power.
Toss dive is parrot talk heard from commentators and LSU rarely ever ran toss without pulling OL and usually using a lead.

Up till the last game the ball has been ran between the tackles. Last game and maybe one play the game before they've used boutee in long drawn out outside runs. BUT, last game they ran a few off tackle. Half the people in the stands fainted.

If you want a modern, innovative offense, Grimes isn’t the guy, either. Some of you will say anything, no matter how ridiculous, to complain.

Do we need a “modern, innovative offense” or just a highly effective one?

I’m not convinced offenses have to be that innovative to be effective. They need to keep a defense guessing as to where the play is going and whether it is run or pass. You can do this in most any well executed offensive style.

I’ll take the wishbone if we can win with it. I don’t care what it looks like.

The best Tiger play ever.
The short side option.

there is a huge difference between what I described, and a toss dive...which was LM speciality.
LSU doesn't run outside at all, and it is hurting our running production. There are lots of options off of a 'pitchout' and there is nothing antiquated about it....no more than a run up the middle between tackles is an 80's offense.

Sounds like a sure fire winner. Do another one.
