Les has always loved JJ and has made it clear he loves his ability to be ability to run the ball. He likes the fact that JJ has that dual dimension as a QB. This is what's so baffling to many tiger fans. Why did he recruit QBs that were so different than JJ? JLee, Zach Lee, and Mett are obviously pocket QBs. The answer is if Lee plays really well JJ goes in for limited running packages. If Lee plays bad the JJ will get a chance to take over. JJ is going to play it's up to Lee how much.

He is incinuating that Les will start JJ at all costs.. I can see what he means by that concerning last season.. but alot has happened since then.
If Jlee or Mett plays well and have this offense rolling, you've seen the last of JJ under center.
JMHO.

You don't give Les enough credit

But isn't that answer at least somewhat dependent on why he gets reinstated as well as how well Lee is doing?

When and why he gets reinstated is irrelevant, because he most certainly will and at worse will miss 4 games unless he full decides to no plea down after the grand jury.

It would not shock me in the slightest if Lee is tearing it up and JJ is reinstated and immediately made the starter again. Les has proven that no matter what, JJ will be his starter if possible.

Last season proved that JJ will always get a chance. I am hoping that has changed and it will be a fair assessment, but I just can't see it.

Maybe it's time to use reverse psychology.

I say let JJ back on the team as a kicker if cleared.

Nothing would surprise me @ this point. There must be a rational, if mistaken, explanation for playing Mr. Jefferson the last two years.

There is a greater than zero chance that the public has been spared important details of that night and an even greater chance that the complete truth of what happened will never be known-human memory being what it is.

That said, I hope Mr. Lee lights it up, the O and D lines are better than advertized and the stable of RBs scorch the gridiron with thousands of yards through, over and around opposing defenses.

I don't think most people would make the assumptions you just made.

To be fair to Miles, Lee's most successful drives only happened because LSU was losing, had nothing to lose, and was able to go for it on fourth down. It makes a difference when you have an extra down to work with.

I have the same question as lovethutigahs, which i dont think anyone has answered (that I have found) - Can JJ come back next season if he does not play any this season? (I didnt want to start a new thread on this).

Just answered your own question, dude. Lee keeps the job if we're winning.

I think after this year, LSU needs to move on. It's time.
