He stays. He has one really good season which is this season. Last year was ok and was a back up.

He only played in the first three games this year. He was our main cover safety before his injury, so I’d expect him to start at FS next year assuming no issues with his recovery.

Not sure if the injury was actually season-ending, or if Orgeron just thought red shirting him would be better for the program long term than playing him for 5-6 games this year.

Actually looking at it now, if he has been able to recover he could conceivably play one more game this year and still keep a redshirt. They originally said it was a bad knee sprain, I think.

Look his potential is much higher than was shown this season to date. He will be evaluated and that will make his decision easier. The NFL sees potential and will draft accordingly. I hate it but I'm leaning that he'll leave because of the potential.
