These B10 schools get to go on the road and play Rutgers, Maryland and Northwestern and then act like they play a tough schedule. GTFO.
Are maryland, northwestern and rutgers that much different than kentucky, mississippi st, and vandy most years

You are correct there are no dominant SEC teams. Maybe UGA? But Bama deserved to be in. They would’ve been a lock if they didn’t have to play a conference championship. I don’t care what the score was and the fact that they got blown out.
ND shouldn’t be rewarded for sitting on their arse and not having to play a conference championship. Especially when they lost to the only two teams worth a damn on their schedule.
You could make the case for ND or Vanderbilt to get in over Tulane and JMU, but you would be adding another SEC team into the playoffs.
We’ll never know how that will turn out. But SEC is deeper top to bottom. Indiana is just the best overall team.

I think it’s much tougher to play those 3 SEC schools on the road than any of the other teams you mentioned in the Big 10. I mean Mississippi State was ranked No. 1 way back in 2014 with Dak at one point.
Vandy was formidable this year and would’ve been in the playoff if not for Tulane or JMU. Clark Lea seems like he’s got something good moving forward.
It may not be much but it’s more than I can say for a lot of the bottom dwellers in the Big 10 either.

Why did they not deserve to be in this year? They beat UGA head to head at their place. They lost to them in the conference championship. Had they not played that game, they would’ve been in.
What is your reasoning? If that was your team, you would’ve been livid if they weren’t in the playoff.

The SEC has won 19 of the last 25 Titles. 7 different programs have won, 4 with multiple titles this century. Right now the SEC is WAY down, for sure. It is Georgia, and everyone else.
