You realize he went in the 7th round and he’s on the practice squad right?

You realize your comment is irrelevant because my whole point is he actually got drafted.

He wants that Heisman in 2019. He knows they won't give it to Tua 2 years in a row.

Because their college careers look so similar

Trubisky was a 6'3 210 lb. dual threat HS QB from Ohio that only saw mop up duty until becoming the starter in his junior year.

Burrow was a 6'3 208 lb. Pro-style HS QB from Ohio that only saw mop up duty until becoming the starter in his RS junior year.

No similarities at all

Few people get drafted because of their high school similarities to an NFI player.

In terms of mop up duty, Trubisky had125 pass attempts, completing 82 with 11 TDs. Joe only had 39 attempts in his 2 years with 26 completion and 2TDs. So similar.

Through 5 games Joe is 70 for 130 with 6 TDs passing. Trubisky through 5 games 133 of 175 with 13 TDs. Again, so similar.

Look, Burrow is doing good, but he’s not lining up to be a first round pick next year so Trubisky is not a good comparison, IMO. Joe has the disadvantage of starting in a new system and in the SEC but most scouts will not account that when making draft projections.
