If Etling can get drafted, I don’t see why Burrow couldn’t, even after this season, if he keeps up his solid performance this year. He’s only getting better.

With just several games under his belt, I don't see how he would go pro.

Burrow strikes me as the kind of guy who will come back.

In fact, I'd ban bet on it. He has so much room to improve.

Hope you’re right. That makes sense. He’s pretty confident in his ability though. I am really liking this kid.

I’m saying IF he continues his upward trend. I’m not saying he’s ready to start. I’m pretty sure none of you NFL scouts expected New England to draft Danny Etling.

If he keeps improving it might be an option. He said he is treating football like a job right now. I just think he would keep improving next year as well and having marshall and chase with jefferson next year should be added incentive

On the flip side, I've always thought the reason LSU has so many WRs leave early is because they are tired of not having a solid QB to throw to them. Burrow would be a guy worth staying for.

He will be back and LSU will be even better next year.

There is ZERO chance that anybody would draft him after only 1 year, too little to go off of and way too many better QB's with better proven numbers.

Now, if LSU wins the NC, there wouldn't be a better person more deserving of the Heisman. He would be the single person on the team that could have made or broke this season; if we win a NC it would be because of him. Everybody on a great team is important, but few are irreplaceable. OK, he could get drafted, but that is what it would take!

ZERO

I find this kind of thinking so absurd. Can you really say zero chance? Do you have a DeLorean? A flux capacitor? There was also “ZERO” chance Trump would get elected.

Are you an NFL scout? If not, quit spouting off probabilities for assumptions that you know nothing about. There is a ton of football left to be played and who knows how things will play out.

Tons of QBs have been drafted based on potential from a small sample size. I for one hope Burrow is here two years. But there are no guarantees and to state "there is ZERO chance" is asinine.

I think he will be back unless he just starts going off for 300 and 400 yard games with 4 and 5 TDs per game.

That would mean that we won the natty, so I wouldn't GAF at that point.

I think a big part of the reason he came to LSU is bc of all the attention he'll be getting with the national spotlight in big games like UGA and Bama.

If he plays well, scouts will be watching and take notice. And if he were to outperform Fromm and Tua, his stock would soar.

He coming back to put up donkey Kong numbers with this incrediblely young WR group.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Dee Anderson would enter the draft though. It could be a mistake but he’s a genetic freak. His hands looked to be improved until last game. Chase Mashall, Jefferson, and Dillion are going to wreck shop next year. Oh yea and maybe even Giles.

Etling got drafted in the 7th. Pretty sure JB wants more money than that. He also comes from football family. If his numbers aren't where they feel they should be, he'll come back and get them there.
