The problem is that the hate is actually directed in reverse….LSU would rather lose with JD than win with Nuss….
The same people that get on us when we criticize JD’s play are quick to pass criticism towards Nuss…..
JD’s main problem is that he holds onto the ball way too long…..it only appears that we can’t pass block.

If he didn’t put him on down a few scores to lead a come back, he is not going to do it.

If we actually saw the backup play every game a series or two things would pipe down.

Or, God forbid, the back-up qb actually plays awesome…..& we score TDs with a wr catching the ball in stride…..

Exactly.
Regardless the top two QBs should get minutes every game and especially when a blow out is starting and window for closing the gap is closing.
Maybe they play him and he doesn’t do well then everyone will back off the nuss buss maybe he does well and fans force the issue and he gets more playing time… either situation is a improvement
