Does Bowl gm prep help recruits compete to start nxt yr?

Coach Miles and his staff will spend some of the three weeks working with underclassmen, including quarterback Zach Mettenberger, to get a preview of what lies ahead for LSU football. The extra three weeks of practice will likely pay big dividends for LSU going into the offseason.
Did this situation cause Mett to decide to come to LSU? Is this one area that ranters forget to rant on when LSU goes to a bowl game?

An he knows that he can take the job easily. There was a thread yesterday about how he is not allowed to practice or something right now. Try searching for it.

Pretty sure paper work is preventing him from getting here in time for bowl practice like he was planning.

Can he not still work out with the team as long as he does not "practice" ? Referring to weight room etc.

Doubt there is anything stopping him from going to the UREC and working out with say..JL or someone.

Never know, but he did come here knowing he will be our QB for at least two years.
