i've gotten to where i pretty much only follow lsu or lsu related college sports. meaning, i watch teams that are ranked in front of lsu hoping for them to lose.
or i will watch teams lsu beat hoping for them to win.
or i will watch interesting high profile matchups that are somehow related to lsu.
i quit watching pro baseball back in the late 90's. i quit watching pro basketball in the early 2000's. i quit watching pro football in the mid 2000's.
it's interesting because i go to relatives' houses for gatherings and they just have sports on to have sports on and i couldn't care less about whatever it is they have on; tennis, golf, whatever.
also, i couldn't care less about the heisman trophy. it's stupid. i haven't watched gameday in about 10 years. it is like fingernails across a chalkboard to me. i don't listen to sports talk radio or watch sportstalk shows or watch player interviews or documentaries.
i'm sure some people here are going to think i do nothing all day.
i really love going to away football games. one of the best things about being a cfb fan. i've been fortunate enough to go to
florida
uga (2x)
state (2x)
ole miss (5x)
auburn (2x)
bama
uky
ark (3x)
washington
various bowl games
looking forward to austin

Depends, home games I only watch LSU because we are usually out on campus and I don't go out there to sit and watch TV.
If I'm watching away games at a bar I'll glance at other games just to see what's going on, but don't watch every play.
I don't think I've sat through a full football game that wasn't LSU or the Saints in several years.
Don't have time, games are long and generally boring. Although NFL has had a few good ones this season.
EPL is diff. I like watching because they are on early in the AM before shite is open and I can watch two or three games before lunch time. Can't do that with American Football.
Haven't really watched much basketball since Shaq left LA.

have you bothered to read any of the posts on the rant? its pretty evident about 2/3 of the posters here do not watch any college football other than LSU. theres nothing wrong with that, except for when people want to act like theyre experts on college football. on LSU? sure? on all of FBS?

In best of times, prolly 14 all 22s , watched by "experts".

well seeing as that they work 80-100 hour weeks I am not sure where they find the time to.
But in this day and age, you can watch probably 30 different teams over the course of a saturday from 11 am to 11 pm

I'll watch basketball when they don't suck. So I'll probably watch a ton this season.

If I'm home I usually only watch LSU and I'll do some score watching with the other games
I'm working out of town now so I find myself trying to watch some of the other big games to fill the time since I'm not socializing with friends/family as I would normally be

LSU's football team is right inside the top ten mark all time in the sport per some ways of viewing success. Link at the bottom to show one site's methodology. They have: Alabama, Notre Dame, USC, OU, Ohio St., Michigan, Texas, Nebraska, LSU at #9, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Penn St. and Miami to round out the top 15 all time.
Our baseball team however, can be considered top 3 all time. Only Texas and USC can claim to be as good or better than us all time, in my opinion. To me, that gives baseball a huge amount of importance as every win and successful season just builds on the all time importance.
I would hope basketball would crack the top 25, but we are likely somewhere past that. If we can keep Wade for 20 years, who knows what he can do. I would argue that we are probably only behind Kentucky and Florida in our conference.
To answer your question, no, I watch basketball and baseball as well and so should you.
