Basketball takes an engaging coach that has a pulse. A vanilla TJ isn’t getting big or small boosters to open up the wallet.

It’s a fair question

I don’t think we / Baton Rouge has enough money to support a well rounded program and for that matter, not even enough to support the football program for the talent that will be attracted to the top dollars that larger markets can garner

If a top 2-3 wideout, from Louisiana is promised big money in Miami or Houston then he is going to give strong consideration to teams in those markets that he might not have even considered in prior years
