Do you think Jarrett Lee still supports LSU?

I know this is random but I was thinking about Lee’s career at LSU being up and down. He had a rough freshman year throwing a pick 6 in every game due to Ryan Perrilloux being kicked off the team before the season but won us some games when Jordan Jefferson was struggling in 2010. Due to Jefferson being suspended in 2011 most of the season, he played great except the Bama game.
I always wondered if Les Miles playing Jefferson the rest of the season when he played like arse after the bama game turned Lee off? He lead the team all year to be put in at the end of games with 2 minutes left to run out the clock and not get a chance to play in the national championship game when we couldn’t pass midfield. I can’t help but wonder if that left a bad taste in his mouth with LSU or more so with Les Miles. I hope he still loves the program.

I was a fan of Lee and he was a great tiger. He just mentally broke down when the rush was on. Like the game was too quick for him…

He did some commentary in 2013. I just remember him talking about the need to develop a third WR besides OBJ and Jarvis. We never did.
It didn't seem he was bitter at all.
Someone can confirm, but in the five post-season games while he was here, he only got like two cleanup snaps in the '11 SECCG. JJ took all the rest all four years. And I'm not anti-JJ. He got blamed for a lot that was due to Les's hyper-conservatism on offense.
Just thought after Lee stayed around after '08 and bailed us out in '10 vs UTenn, UF, and Bama and then was instrumental in the '11 season, that he would've been rewarded with some post-season PT.

Without Jarrett Lee, we would've never made it through the 2011 regular season undefeated. Lee deserved better than he got from Miles. While it's true that Jefferson helped us win at Bama, the offense struggled with him under center more often than not. I remember vividly leaving the Georgia Dome after the 2011 SECCG knowing that we were in trouble. Miles should've put Lee in for at least a series or two in the 2012 NC game, just to see if he might be able to spark something, but he stuck with Jefferson who stunk it up, and the rest is history.

I'll just say, my step dad knows him personally through a mutual friend. He's still a die hard Tiger. There was a point in time right after 1/9/12, much like how T-Bob has outlined his experience not playing in that game either, where he didn't agree with how the coaching staff handled that game, but he's moved passed it after a certain point. He still loves LSU and roots for them and wants what's best for them, can promise you that.
