BK to me always felt like a sleazy politician. Love the status the job gave him but never really believed in what he was saying. He doesn’t seem to have the hunger that other top coach’s have

He hated the state of the current game. He wanted out he lost his edge. I’m with him it's been ruined

I agree with you on almost all of Kelly's asst coach hires being bad...and even the Orgeron leftover of Brad Davis. Denbrock that Kelly brought from ND was good. He tried to bring Freeman as DC but he got promoted to HC. Bo Davis MIGHT have turned out good as DT coach the NFL scooped up before he got his feet wet at LSU. Raymond was a good hire. But keeping Brad Davis was bad...hiring Peoples was bad...Haus was bad...the secondary coaches before Raymond was bad...Sloan as QB coach/OC was bad. I don't know enough about Hankton to comment. I think everyone likes Wilson for recruiting if nothing else. Atkins I know little about. Blake Baker is NOT the best college DC in the country by any stretch and yet he is getting paid the highest DC salary. I don't think the lack of talent did Kelly in...it was subpar asst coaches.

He believed since O made it look so easy he thought anyone could do it.
Apparently O was a much better Coach than he believed.

No, Orgeron won because he had a generational talent at QB and a good OC. Kelly did have a generational QB in Daniels but his DC Haus was incompetent and the players didn't believe in his coaching. Orgeron didn't make it look easy at all. Or do you not remember the Bo Pelini fiasco at DC where he didn't even interview the guy before hiring him.
