That's a really good comp.
It looks like, at least for now, Jones has a bigger number than teams are willing to pay for a player with a limited skillset.

Just needs to show that he can be coached. Seems to be stuck with his approach and ways. Needs to talk to Miguel Cabrera - very similar phenomenon that Miggy figured out.
