My thoughts exactly. He's won everywhere...LSU will be no different.

Absolutely. We knew, those of us who follow LSU basketball regularly that is, that this season was a throw away.

Better things in store next season. Lookout UK and UT!

i still do not understand why he did not recruit any one for this year. i have concerns about him not being able to see this last year. walk ons are fine for practice, not in the sec. i know we have some good recruits coming in next year and white is a good sec player but it's hard to replace a tasmin mitchell. one descent player with taz, warren and spencer would have been at least competetive and semi excited for next year.
at times we look like a high school team, thank god spencer played out of his arse last night.

your dreaming if you think we will win the west next year, if we would have beat out kent, duke or unc for any of our recruits maybe so. the guys we have coming weren't even on their board. trent is recruiting four year guys. look at last night, tennessee's freshman compared to ours....it's a joke we have maybe one freshman who could even dress out for another sec team.

Well you have to remember guys...Marcus Thorton doesn't leave we have a different team. We aren't a men's basketball school anymore, we haven't been in a long time. Give him a few years he wasn't exactly put into the same great situation that Les Miles was brought into. Give him time..

Curious, who would you have signed? Here was Louisiana last year (per Rivals)....

Best year ever, right? So in less than a year, with no recruiting reputation in this area, he signed a 4 star shooting guard (top 100 nationally) and the only player from this state who signed with a SEC basketball program. Also got us into the final two with Noel Johnson who was a 4 star, top 50 kid nationally.

Here's what it boils down to:

A) You're an idiot if you think Trent is not a good coach and not the right man for the job.

B) You're an idiot if you're not aware that this season has turned out way worse than anyone thought.

I sipped the koolaid early on thinking we could maybe max out at 8 SEC wins. Boy was I wrong and this is the worst LSU team I've watched in the past 10 years.

Still won't stop me from making every game. Things will be a little better next year.

is louisiana the only place to recruit, tj should have contacts all over the country. if our coach couldn't see this coming we are in trouble. i'm sure when we fired brady we were expecting our new coach to be playing 3 walk ons in his second year be winless after 8 games in the conference. he gets paid a winning salary and we pay good money for tickets and we got trash this year. we won the sec last year and was in the final four 3 years ago and we can't get a recruit for this year, come on.

So who? What names? What actual recruits should he have offered that he didn't?

I have faith in the man, this year was just a train wreck waiting to happen with or without Tasmin coming back. Who is going to win with the guards currently on this squad and no center to boot? Trent will get it going, it's not like LSU has been a mecca for highly sought out of state players the last 5 years, if ever. I look at the primary starters and see two legitimate SEC players talent wise, why get riled up about it?

cjf has made it clear from the beginning that he still takes it up the arse from brady and yearns everyday for his return. No matter what TJ does, it will never be good enough.

Thornton may not make the NBA if it wasn't for TJ. He had no respect for Brady, yet as soon as TJ comes in he becomes a team player who improved tremendously on defense.
