I think that house is neat, but I cannot afford it

We love everything about it but 2/3rds of the walls and ceilings have to be re-textured and/or re-painted.

Looks like a lot of pedo artwork in that stairwell.

It’s this more often than you’d think.
I'm willing to bet $1,000 that they find a long dead body in the house one day..

There are two in our neighborhood that have been on the market for awhile but haven't sold.
One belongs to an owner who misrepresents the sq footage by about +50% and never gets an offer from the people who come to look at it.
The other is a 2000 sf home that is absolutely hurricane proof. Problem is, it sets in west Georgia about 12 miles north of I-20 where the appearance of a hurricane is very doubtful. The walls are 8" thick concrete, there are no closets in the entire home, and it looks like it should be a community building/club house with a pool behind it in a planned subdivision. Owner has been consistently asking $890k for it. Apparently the fact it was featured in Southern Living when it was first built several years ago makes him believe it commands that value. And, to my knowledge, no one has ever lived in it.
