Do we rush the field if we beat Bama?
If forget about all of the rules & fines that attempt to discourage fans rushing the field (but don't really work)....
Do we get to go on the field if we beat Bama?
No, we don't. We have beaten them before and we can do it again. Only teams that lose to Bama consistently by a big margin all the time do this. Why lower ourselves to this? Yes, celebrate but treat as if we expected we would beat them. If we rush the field, it would seem like it was a miracle and give the gumps reason to say, "LSU beat us and they rushed the field. It must have made their decade."

Sure...........if you're a total a-hole.

If you don't rush the field after -that- win, then I'm not sure there's a time where you'd ever rush the field.

That would just show Bama and the media that LSU fans still think Bama is better and we just got away with one
Bama is better based on the eyeball test we all subjectively use. What happens in these 60 minutes will alter that, but 0-5 sure does warrant a look at the rushing plays.

You fricking millennials bring it for one game.......and now you are so fricking desperate to "be apart of the action" that you have to contemplate rushing the field.......
Come on man

No, we don't rush the field until we have to beat them again in the Championship game.

As a football fan there are really two polar opposite sides to this one.
As a storied program: frick no, There is no "act like you have been there" We have been there. This is business, on to the next one.
As a passionate sports fan: Hell yea, this is why/when you storm the field. Bama has owned us the past 5 meetings and they are coming into our house ranked #1. If you ever rush the field in death valley, after the adversity our fans have been through this year (and years past), this is when you should do it.

Nope. This team expects to upset Bama.
Fans jobs are to stay all four quarters yelling and screaming their drunk asses off!

People need to relax and understand the situation. LSU students don't give a shite what will happen to them, what the media will think, or that LSU is above this kind of thing. They want to be a part of a moment.
That's why I didn't understand why it was such a big deal against Ole Miss 2 years ago. "Wow, LSU rushed the field against Ole Miss..wow". No, the students did and others followed after.

LOL at everyone in this thread acting like we are too good to rush the field if we beat Bama.
"Act like we've been there before."
Sorry.. it's been a while. If it is a close game and we pull it out at the end, it's happening. If we did it for ole miss in 2014, it is happening for this game. Auburn in 2013 rushed the field when they beat Bama and they won the SEC and played for a national title.
