Damn, I remember seeing a thread last week or so where he had an incredibe game. Maybe him and Leon can have a "K" competition next season? (only kidding of course)

he didn't see game action all year, I'm sure he's just taking the Miguel Tejada approach to hitting, swing at everything.

Still hitting .302 and 14/14 sb. I can live with that. He is only averaging 1 so a game. That is not that bad.

There is absolutely no reason to worry about his strikeout totals. I played in the Valley in 04 and we had two guys who had awful summer seasons and both made at least one all american team the following year.

One of them, our first baseman played at Florida and was a tremendous power hitter but he couldnt go oppo for anything. His coaches told him they wanted him to go oppo every at bat of the summer. He preceeded to break the league record for strikeouts and hit around .175 for the summer.

don't worry about Dishon, he needs to get used to live pitching again and get comfortable. To be batting over .300 is a great sign in any summer league.

He has fall practice and next spring to get back into that starting spot in one of the outfield positions.
