Difference between this year's team and the 2017 team

Starting pitchers. It would have been Jared Poche or Alex Lange that matches against Dollander tonight and we would be much more competitive than what we've seen so far. This year's team is loaded with offensive talent just as the 2017 team, but the lack of dominant starting pitchers put us out of serious contenders for championship, and I don't see how that changes in regional/super-regional.

I could see freshman Eric Walker shutting this team down. He could locate with a lot of movement that year. Bet he would’ve been tough for this lineup.

Freshman Eric Walker would have been the Ace on this team, which says a lot about the lack of talent on this pitching staff.

Our bullpen was Zach Hess that season.

The 2017 offense went soft in the postseason.

Oh come on. They scored like 16 one game against moo st in the supers and put together a 4 run 8th in game one. Finals against Florida were tough but Florida had Brady singer and one other guy that went in the first round. Boo that take

Problem tonight was not the pitching of the starting pitcher. It was his fielding and the misplay in RF.

Papierski went off though. He was crushing homers from both sides of the plate in the CWS.

Zack Hess out of the bullpen was a fricking dawg

Man I miss a reliable Saturday guy. That’s our Achilles Heel.
