This will be a great team. Although it will be extremely challenging to go 16-2 in the SEC again because they are the defending SEC champs and everyone will be gunning for them, I think they can go further in the tournament and anything will be possible due to having a great backcourt and some serious shooters on this team (and they will likely have Wade coaching them this time during the NCAA tourney).

When you consider the absolute dumpster fire of a program and roster that Coach Wade took over from Jones, it’s pretty incredible to look at what Coach Wade has done so quickly. Winning the SEC, which Jones never came close to doing, re-energizing the fan base which has become totally apathetic under Jones, and building a culture of winning both mentally and physically.
All of these things Coach Wade has done in just 2 years after taking over a team that won 2 games the year before his arrival and a program that had fallen to the depths of recruiting band members to come play on the team.
Coach Wade is a championship coach and he’s proven that already. He’s so much better in every regard than Jones was.
If Chinoyang was allowed to post, I know that even he would agree.

UF concerns me with who they have returning and the addition of Blackshear.
We did not match up well with their team/style last year. Waters was a liability at times vs UF, but he made up for it with his steals to a degree. Hopefully LSU will be a little better defensively on the ball with Smart, Mays, Manning, and Taylor.

Blackshear averaged 15 ppg, 7.5 Reb, 2.5 Assists last year in the ACC.
What’s not to like?
He’s a very good 6-10 250 college post player added to an already good roster.
