Totally agree. Perhaps we should start a group.

I actually liked the thought of you having an affinity for JL better. Here you are saying that you know more than the coach, or that the coach knows the same thing you do, and is willing to risk a championship to play a favored player over a better one.

I don't believe he said that, at all. He was offering his opinion.

I'll take lesser stats that produced wins over ranked teams at the beginning of the season

No one disputes JL did great at the beginning of the year. However, now it is the end of the year that matters. We may need to play Bama again, and JL is scared of their LB's hitting him.

I like JL and do not like JJ. But I think that CLM may be right and that JJ gives us the best chance of winning a championship.

With the meat of the schedule still lurking, both may be necessary. The offense really hasn't been tested this year.

That's your call to make.

I know coaches have their favorite guys

If this was just bout "favorite guys", JJ would have regained his starting jig before the WKU game.

He rejoins the team in the last part of Sept and starts Nov. 12. Gotta be more going here than Miles playing a favorite. imo

Look, I admire JL and pull hard for him to do well, but he opened the door with his play vs. Bama. Not saying JJ played great or won the game and I know it's conjecture on my part, but I don't see us winning that game with JL's play alone.

Did you miss the 6 pts required to sent the game to OT? The offense hasn't been tested. The defense has, once.

And he's padded his stats against the likes of WKU and Ole Miss and alabama.

We sure must. The offense was virtually non existent during the Bama game. The offense may be tested against Arkansas, will see. To be tested, you have a need to score points. I think the offense put LSU in position for three during that game.

I see what you are saying, but disagree. So if scoring points is testing the offense I would suggest that every game except Bama and MSU would have tested the offense. Further, LSU is averaging 38 points a game.

The only pressure on the offense during the Bama game was not to turn it over. The offense really hasn't faced pressure this year. The pivotal plays in the WVU, Oregon and Bama games were special teams. This will likely change in the next couple of weeks.

Why do you say stupid shite like this?

Just because we haven't had to put up 65 points to keep up with a team doesn't mean it's not a test.

Sorry to disagree but dang we ain't been tested on Off?

Oregon...West V...bama...auburn...florida...sec...etc?

I must surmise that you think the SEC is not the best or that the number of teams played ranked in the top 25 matter little or...?

So what Def supplies the 'ultimate challange'.

Offense hasn't had to do little all year. No worries, I am not dissing JJ since Lee started most of those games. It's just that the defense has kept opponents from scoring enough to challenge LSU.

The offense will likely face some situations where they are forced to move the ball and score some points here in the next couple weeks.

Yeah, I don't doubt LSU can score points. Agree with this. The defense has just kept critical drives (for the offense) down to a minimum.
