No, we cannot. Why can't you just accept that JJ outperforms Lee in practice and that's why he was named the starter when the season began?

The Lee not going to class excuse seems to have been the latest disproven rant rumor

Its not even about what they did on the field, had JJ came in and sucked against Ole Miss, it still would've proven rantards wrong that Lee didn't play because he missed classes.

So Lee will receive a 5 game suspension for missing a class? Cool, I totally believe that.

So JJ is his pet and Tyrann Mathieu is a honey badger. What is the phenomenom behind athletes being referred to animals?

Like when the corner or LB was in his face on a blitz a second after the snap and he threw the TD to Shep?

But he threw the ball 2 seconds too late according to the rant

No but I can agree that JJ looked lights out lastnight. Obviously our highly paid and respected coach sees something that haters like you dont

Dude. Our third string looked lights out last night. Come on man.

How have they been proven wrong? JJ screwed up off the field and lost his starting spot. Lee held onto the spot until he also screwed up.

JJ didn't screw up off the field or get hurt. That seems to be what it takes for Les to change QBs. People point to last year and say it isn't fair that JJ didn't get benched, but they forget Lee didn't get benched in 08 until he got hurt.

I wouldn't be surprised, but he has been good since he became the starter again. As far as this is concerned, I feel the jury is still out. He'll need to put up solid numbers and a W against Arky for me to be sold.

Did these stats have you sold?

10-22 98 yds 1td
or
8-21 169 yds 1td
or
3-7 24 yds 2ints

Yes i know there are better stats against lesser competition that i purposely left out. Lee is an average qb with no mobility. We've won the majority of our games wit overpowering running games that opened up playaction. I salute Lee for keeping LSU undefeated while JJ was out but against faster more physical defenses Lee is a liability. He had his "im the man" moment with BAMA and regressed to 2008. He should thank Les for pulling him so he would not bear the brunt of public scrutiny if LSU lost.

Miles will not keep jj in if jj isn't able to get it done.

Not so sure about that. Historically, CLM has given JJ long leash.

If we played a team as bad as Ole Miss every week, you might see that. But even against a very poor team, he looked better than normal. 3 more games. I hope that both are able to contribute and we win out.

He pulled JJ quick against Tennessee. Les wanted to give the reigns to Lee who in the course of the game threw 2 ints and one of the worst ducks in the history of tiger stadium to avoid getting hit.

yea I would say his favorite, but mainly cuz JJ may be playing better than JL right now..I think you might need a QB with double threat running and throwing as we near crunch time...

The fact that Lee is 8 and 0 as starter and Jefferson is 3 and 0 as starter makes no difference. In Miles's eyes Jefferson is his man and that's it. Lee is finished as a starter, he cannot do anything to win back the starting quarterback position on LSU's team. He should have never thrown 2 interceptions in the Alabama.
