Yes...that was one heck of a performance he put on in that game. I understand all the hype surrounding him after that gem. You guys are hilarious...but you do know that only highly ignorant people will fall for this right?

hope not. But youmare probably right. That SHOULDN'T catch them off guard though, he has been attempting to be a throwing qb for 2 years.

I fixed it for you. He finished 2010 ranked 100 out of 116 in passer rating and efficiency.....Given some qb's are just running qbs, I'd say JJ likley finished at the bottom of all passing qb's in terms of ratings and efficiency. Of course, you will have an excuse for that (OL, crowton, etc.)

ms jefferson, my agenda is to keep the worst rated passing qb from getting back on the field in a passing capacity. I'm sorry, but that is my only agenda. I was a huge Davey fan when he was at LSU. I am a fan of a guy who can pass the ball efficiently. JJ finished the last year (which includes his incredible 5 game run you like to refer to) as the 100 rated qb out of 116. this is not total yards, this is in passer rating and efficiency passing the ball. When you consider there were several rb's in there that are strictly running qbs....then he literally finished at the bottom of all passing qbs in the nation. And you say I have an agenda. I do. I want someone in there who can read defenses and actually pass the ball...obviously it is paying dividends with LSU scoring close to 2 tds better a game so far this year. That is my agenda, to put the offense out there that can score the most points and be most efficient.

Go play in the road, newbie. You are derailing a thread that has NOTHING to do with JJ vs JL and trying to turn it into that. Are you a Rudy alter? He'll I'm thinking I'd respect Rudy more.

He had a QB rating of 153.3 for those 5 games which would have placed him in the top 20 for the year. Unbelievable for a Crowton led offense.

Of course not. You don't want to count his total yards because that makes you look like an arse. You do realize, of course, that Jefferson was our leading returning rusher with 450 NET yards.

This year LSU is scoring 38 points per game. In the last five games of the year, LSU scored MORE points per game; LSU scored 40 points per game in FEWER plays per game. [Thank goodness Crowton is gone.] Compare Jefferson's last five games to Lee's last five games: Jefferson led an offense with more yards per play rushing (close to one yard per carry) and more yards per play passing (close to TWO yards per pass attempt).

LMAO....you pick five games. Why not the entire season? Incidentally, he had a much higer passer rating in 2009....I think crowton was there then as well.

YOu do realize that JL has had some games where he has a rating of 200+ this year right? I tell you what, at the end of the year I'll take JL's best five games and compare them to JJ's best five games last year.....deal? I don't think you will want to go there....but who knows.

dude...we are talking about a qb..not a running back. Do you realize that comparing equal scenarios (first five games for each) that JJ had a yards per attempt last year of 4.2 after five games, and averaged 90 yards per game....with a passer rating of 80. JL through this year has 7.3, 160 per game, and 140 passer rating. Did JJ improve last year? of course. It is also highly likely that JL will improve as well, since he hasn't started games in three years now. I DON'T WANT a RUNNING QB PERMANENTLY. THAT IS WHY OUR OFFENSE SUCKED LAST YEAR.

I ALWAYS love this. Dude, he sucked against ARky, period. How many turnovers did he have that game? He sucked against ULM. He had an okay game against Bama, that was bailed out by JL in the end, and he had a good game against Ole Miss (who EVERY QB that played them looked like an all-american). The Ole Miss performance has absolutely no merit whatsoever...they were pitiful. I could have passed 200 yards on them. Texas a&M......have you watched them lately? seriously.

Incidentally, it is obvious you aren't much in the business world, but you do realize when you compare quarterly results...you don't compare the 1st quarter results of 2011 to the last quarter results of 2010....you do realize that right? you compare quarterly results to the same quarter the previous year.

I am fairly confident that JL will also have a great last five games, as Arky defense sucks, ole miss defense sucks, and West Kentucky defense sucks.

You are the grand prize winner. You have turned this thread into a JJ JL pissing contest. Thanks for destroying another one.

He looked more flexible in his motion, as his cutbacks were more crisp and decisive. Same speed, more determination and crisper running style. He can add some good dimensions to the offense, and does not even have to pass.

I agree. I also think this o-line is much better than any he has played behind.
