Probably but it all depends on LSU being undefeated at that time, which means they have to get through Fla and Auburn first.
For once officiating may be in our favor.

Yeah, their bottom line doesn't matter at all in this
The two are one in the same. They want their bama, mainly because bama is a ratings hit and they will make money.

You are delusional if you think a bama vs almost unranked 2 loss A&M will get better ratings than a game with 2 undefeated top 10 teams.

With Texas winning, even if we lose to Fla or AU, I doubt we fall out the top 10. Would still be the best game of the night.

I think CBS didn't want to take a chance on the LSU/UF game because they didn't think UF would have won and it wouldn't have been two undefeated top 10 teams. If CBS really wanted to hedge their bets they would have exercised their rule to wait until after the games to make a pick but they decided on their "safe" pick by choosing a game with bama. I go back to my original thought, they want bama as many times as they can get and they'll go ahead and get bama agains A&M instead of waiting and ending up with some worse matchup. It was a dumb move but it doesn't surprise me based on historical evidence.
