I do not see anybody defending CEO's record as a HC. I was not a fan of the hire and am on the fence but hope he succeeds here now that we are stuck with him. With that being said just the fcat he will let a modern OC run the O (post 2009) SHOULD make him better than Les. That is all i am saying. Right now we have to take a wait and see approach. Let's see what he can do in his first full year with CMC's full system implemented before we crucify him. and no miles really was not crucified until ole miss 2009 and it was justified but made knowledgable fans examine past performances which we swept under the rug at the time due to results that eventually caught up with him.

Kinda like when you go find Brazos, broski, ellshoe, Jones, and others and yall sit around stroking it together shitting on O. You don't have a clue yet, but it doesn't stop your constant shitting on O. When Lsu does well this year, don't fkn say a word....you have taken your stance.

unlike you we can disagree with a coach, his hire, state facts about his resume AND STILL want him to succeed.

grow up.

Some of these posters are going to have some serious egg on their faces if O wins 10 games or more.

10 games should be the floor at lsu.

it's amazing how winning 10 games is all of the sudden a chest thumping achievement.

Exactly. If Coach O had beaten UF and only lost to Bama, these threads would barely exist

if we beat UF, O is still a 55 year old career dline coach that has never run a successful offense, defense, or program.
if we beat UF is still doesnt change the fact that for 29 of his 32 year career no ad thought enough of his coaching to give him a coordinators job.
if we beat UF is still doesnt change the fact that the last time Ed Orgeron was allowed to put his stamp on a program it culminated in the worst tenure ever at a program full of shite tenures.

beating a 14 point underdog that was missing tons of defensive starters DOESN'T CHANGE ANY OF THAT

in a guaranteed 13 game season because let's face it everybody makes a bowl now. prolly so.

i said years ago a blind monkey with a headset could win 8 a year a LSU with our recruits and facilities post-2004. miles barely met that requirement a couple times. that monkey had to be laughing.

Well, 10 wins would be pretty good for a "terrible hire," wouldn't it there, sparky?

and he was justly fired. I just don't believe winning 10 games at lsu with the last 4 recruiting classes is chest thumping situation.

winning 11 games in today's cfb is the equivalent of winning 10 games back in the 80's and 90's.

no it wouldn't.

we just fired a guy that won 10 games in 2010,2011,2012,2013, and wouldve been 2015 if the mcneese game isn't cancelled.
so at no point is 10 wins a chest thumping situation.
