Despite being very simple sites, I'm guessing this guy hasn't the foggiest idea as to how to do any of this himself.
So his "web programmer" will get to it in due course.

Well, I was completely wrong about THAT little assumption. Burleson lists himself as site administrator for dickburleson.com!

and here I was giving him the benefit of the doubt.

learned my lesson on that one

More than likely the reason his site is down is because of email overload. His site has been inundated in a big way in such a short time. His site wasa not set up to deal with as much traffic as he is recieving and so it automatically shuts down.

Posted this on the other site thought it might help.

They have more than likely seen it by now. Don't think that they would drop a story. The problem is that it is only fans doing this yelling and not the right people. What we need is for the right people to start yelling and doing the searching into this information and then something might, the key here is MIGHT, do something, but until then all we caan do is keep this thread at the top so that if someone with the guts and authority to read it and then follow up on it then it will grow wheels and start rolling. So, if anyone knows someone who can get to someone else in a position to do something start the wheels rolling.

That's what I wrote yesterday.
But now we know he handles his own site.
So all he had to do was delete the contact links/info. He didn't have to take the site down. Raises a few more questions.

His personal 'hands-on' with the site ups the ante in other respects too.
For example the claim that his book was the #1 seller at Barnes and Nobel ==> False. You could discount that as an error in transcription -- if the guy didn't personally write and upload it himself.
Another poster was ragging on his choice of Crimson text on a White background as indicating a Bama bias. I thought that was silliness. But now knowing that Burleson put the site together himself, it's a little more ify.

Surely a man of Burlesons character wouldn't stretch the truth any. I think the book was likely #1 at the local Barnes Gump and Nobel.

...not sure a in person book signing with big DICK would go over too well in BR...

...(someone might actually make him answer some questions, and hold him accountable)...

Apparently that was exactly the case.

I wonder which replay official will be getting Burlesons assistance today.....MSU/Bama or UF/SC.
In surfing I saw one of his leadership talks titled "you never know what you can get away with until you try".......hmmmmmmm.

I heard the show that day and Finebaum also said that Gerald Hodges is also an Alabama native. I think the SEC wanted this dream matchup since last year. They got it!!! We can only hope that the SEC changes a lot of this crap. There is favortism for BAMA-Just look at the penalities called on us and the ones not called that are so obvious on there side. The homers here say they are better coached-BS-when you have to beat the officials and a quality team, its close to impossible. The penalities in Saban bowl 1 were like 13-1. That is CRAZY. Even Finebaum said after the game that it was like men against boys and the officials almost screwed us enough to have BAMA win. I think we need reform now. The SEC headquarters will not move out of Birmingham,AL, but you could make a national referee/officials network to draw from and anyone calling the game has no school affiliation or bias. This crap has got to STOP-

I reminded Chicken of the 'lurkers that are lawyers' issue on pg 4. It was obvious where this was gonna go....still good that people know what to expect from SEC offices.

wondering how many, if any, major sports media picked up on this terrible conflict of interest ... or whether all of them are in Bama's jock.
