A positive change? A want to get better on offense? A step in the right direction?

We do something positive that can help our offense and we're not allowed to be excited. We don't do anything and continue to get crapped on.

You just can't win with rantards.

To be fair, this was similar shite to the Sullivan hire. People questioned it, others were told to shut the frick up. Sullivan was going to really improve our wrs and passing game.

Took til the last game of the season to get them going. So yeah, some people will be hesitant

shite, even one of the biggest O pumpers is saying tap the breaks, oline must get better.

If you can't even be remotely excited for a positive change and a good hire then why do you even bother following the team.

Make the right hire the first go around and you wouldn't need these perceived positive changes. If E actually did a good job. No one would give a shite we hired this guy.

If he can get the inside WRs and Burrow to recognize pressure, break off a route and hit a quick slant the world would be a glorious place.

As usual it's all talk, until I see it with my own eyes and everyone else does it's just talk as usual. We have heard all of this many times by now, and every year the offense looks as stagnant as ever. When they look like these other college schools (Oklahoma, Okie St, Clemson, NC State, etc.) do offensively then it won't be just talk anymore and it will be thrilling to watch. But until then I'm tired of hearing about how they will look in the new offensive sets, and what they will do offensively.

He’s a step in the right direction. If things improve he might be our next OC. Let’s hope

Brees also had a shoulder injury that played a big part. He couldn't hit the deep ball at all.

We’ve heard all this many times that LSU’s not going be a passing threat while Coach O and Ensminger are in charge. So many doubters will be in shock if it finally happens, may need to carry salts to revive them.

I am with the wait and see approach.

We heard how we had the greatest OC according to a player on the team this past season.

You’re being pretty smug for someone on offensive savior #3

I’ll be happy if it works but 1/3 isn’t good. This isn’t baseball

And the player that bragged about the 2018 offense was senior tight end Moreau. Think about this for a minute. LSU nearly finished the season with one loss despite a horrible showing by the Oline.

None of that will matter if we can’t pass block effectively. That’s the most important thing to address this off-season. The o line looked lost a lot of the year

there's no question you are correct; but have some hope man. last year started with Ingram getting axed and then a lot of injuries. we had a new OL coach and he had a diferent OL for every game for almost half the season.

this year portends to be much better. the beginning of the year will be tough, like it always is but if we can stay relatively injury free we'll gel and be a pretty good unit. at least, that's the optimistic view and I think there is a good chance of it happening.

the big thing to hope for is no announcement saying "this is the best OL we've had". both miles and orgeron said that before the worst OL's we've ever had.

And thenoffense was still bad.

Moreau is a standup guy, but clearly a little too close to the situation

This year we saw a far different offensive scheme than what we saw with Miles and Cameron.

I'm not sure how people are still repeating the incorrect mantra.

Really? Are you sure?

Where were the draw plays?
Where was the misdirection?
Where was the pre-snap motion?
Where were the screens? Any screens. Bubble, wide receiver, middle, Etc.
Where were the drag routes?
Where were the quick slants?
Where were the passes to the RB?
Where were the passes to the TE?
Where were the pitch-outs?
Where were the bunch formations?
Where were the rub routes?

Yeah. This is exactly like a Les Miles offense. Basic, uncreative, straight-up football. Tecmo Bowl-esque.

All of the above are designed to help your offensive line and keep the defense honest, confused and on their heels.

I really think none of you actually watch other football teams run their offense. LSU is one of only a handful of college football teams that still run this stale, predictable, basic offense. Even opposing teams players have explicitly stated in interviews that LSU's offense is easy to defend.

And if you still believe that LSU's offensive philosophy is really that much different than under Les Miles, then explain to me how the offensive results aren't that much different than a Les Miles offense. In fact, they're pretty much identical other than run-pass ratio.

You're being too kind. They flat out sucked at times and can easily be blamed for playing a part in every loss we had last year.

Now, this is the type of response I expected from the Neanderthals on TD. Was never my description of the event, Sherlock, it was her's. But I was cool with it, while you want to throw rocks! LOL.
