Geralds has 5 sacks though five games. He only needs 3 more sacks to break Harold Perkins' freshman record. This kid is special.

I want to crush that record. I'm really excited about that, and I'm really working hard to go get more sacks every game. That's really on my mind.
It really comes from a lot of hard work. The way my parents raised me – the way I’ve been taught my whole life. Work hard, and good things will come. I’ve just been doing that. Keeping my head down and working, and everything’s falling into place for me. All I can do is thank God for it.

Hes already tied his record for rushing touchdowns!!!

That rushing package with him is no joke either. I would not be surprised to see it in sec games near the goal line. Kid had damn near 20 rushing TDs against top high school comp last year

It's crazy how the media in pre season were saying lsu is starting true freshman at d-tackle because of depth. It was because Geralds is a stud
