44 or 36 what do we spend on recruiting and coaching staff salaries in relation to the thirty-five teams above us.
Money well spent?

This kid had 18 plus offers prior to signing with LSU. Now he is tired of all the promises about how LSU plans to use their TEs in the passing game each year. I wish the kid the best.

This notion about how TEs are used in LSU's passing game is a joke. All TEs on LSU's roster are underutilized. They receive scholarships to primarily block.

Let's not do that to Pettigrew. He can be a stud if develop right by the coaching staff.

And yet the "cupcakes" still pull one or two over on FBS teams every year, sometimes against ranked teams.

None of that shite matters though. Fact is, Les doesn't use his players, and they get tired of the shite and leave. The number of transfers and potential transfers from LSU's offense ALONE is ridiculous this year. Already Diarse. Now potentially Smith and Quinn. Who's next?

Why are you on this site? Nothing against McNeese but if some of these Tigers transfer it just means they weren't as good as advertised. Let em go, we need players that want to be here and produce!

Why we offer pass catching TEs and never use them in the passing game?

yea he's a Talent, after the ND bowl game I thought the Coaching staff had seen the light with his 4 receptions. D Smith is a mismatch night mare. Great Size, Hands and Speed, what a waste.

Why would he stay we don't throw to the TE. I wish all of our TE would leave and Miles would be forced to play 3 tackles. Twice per year we can run a trick play and throw to the tackle near the goal line. Seriously the excuse for an offense we've seen the past few years is just flat out a shame and disgrace!!

No the problem is our MORON offensive scheme lead by CAM and LES that never throws to the TE.

1-2 out of what? 100 games? Maybe more? That's my point.

Do you really think that's it? Really? Despite his players loving the man and coming out in droves in his support? Maybe it is just that there are 85 scholarship players, and some don't pan out. The best players play, and the ones who don't make the starting spots transfer to mcneese and the like.

Yes. LSU has a ridiculous amount of skill players. Not all can play for the Tigers. But they can play elsewhere.

But to answer your question, Jennings.

How many time will I have to explain this to football ignorant posters?

We were only 36th because of our ball controlled scheme.

We finishedthe season ranked 12th in offensive yards per play but because we were 116th in plays ran our TOTALS were lower. When the ball was snapped only 11 offenses in cfb were more successful, we just run a ball controlled scheme that doesn't run a bunch of plays like other HUNH teams.

Who are all these programs with TEs producing? There is 1 te in the sec with over 50 catches and 1 te with 500 yards rec.

partially...yeah

Diarse and Quinn were #4 and #5 on the depth chart. Could they have seen more balls their way if LSU threw more? Of course. But it is partially their fault for not beating the guys in front of them for the limited balls.

And DeSean got beat by Colin Jeter.

All of they guys have their talents, but none of them transferring would cripple or affect LSU's offense in anyway.

If those guys are smart they won't transfer. We have put high profile high stat receivers in the NFL that have prospered greatly and same is said about those receivers that maybe didn't get as many touches. Either way LSU is better than most Universities on training WR up. If they just want to play all the time then yes move on, but LSU WR's learn the basics and get that repetition in practice and on the field. They get all the intangibles the NFL loves. Physical, Great Blockers, Great Route runners, team players, and all the basics that most WR's in a system where they get used up and thrown to the NFL and don't prosper for a few years if ever.

You either get your WR education the college you are at, or you get awesome stats and learn nothing more than how to run fast and catch the ball, which is not well rounded, and "your fast and physical" doesn't translate to the NFL without the repetition of route running, blocking, you know the basics and things a WR must do besides run fast and catch.

OJ Howard doesnt seem concerned about getting the ball, just focused on winning a championship. 2 tds in his career. was a 5 star, top 25 recruit.

I tell ya what I wish. that Miles would quit fking lying to TE prospects at the home visits...jerking them off talking about utilizing them in the passing game. what a joke.
