He continued to hold him up after the play was whistled and help a #1 sign. Taunting. Unsportsmanlike. Should have been flagged.

unsportsmanlike conduct for sure
1000% unsportsmanlike penalty should have been called. And shame on Delly and Campbell for both being right there and not getting in Carter's face.

I think yall are taking this the wrong way. Carter was all over JD5 and could have body slammed him but he held up and in my opinion didn’t want to let go and drop him because of his ankle.
However, the trick play 2 pt conversion was bush league. I hope they used up their best play and it won’t be available when they need it in the playoff

It could have been considered taunting, but they were not going to throw flags on UGA that night, SEC had to protect the playoff birth.

Because the OL supposed to protect the QB at all cost and that was low class what Carter did. Dude needed his arse kicked

Yea . I'm sure he is a GA legend now. I'm just glad he didn't body slam JD.

Yes. The officiating was the cherry on top. It also appeared that on the FG attempt drive, the final third down that one of LSU's receivers was taken down by a GA db. No flag.
