His parents live behind me a couple houses down. Directly behind me is a house owned by a family with the Deichmann name, too. Assue they're related. They throw a lot of parties and they're rocking tonight.

I'm not saying he's not an awesome player. But the undeniable fact is that he underperformed more than anybody else in the postseason. His batting average, slugging %, OPS, and on base % were all just about cut in half.

I dont think a single person here would argue that he was himself during the CWS. However, the last statement you made about him coming back was so dumb, and discredited every thing you said prior. You showed your ignorance.

If I could give you more than one downvote, I would!! Get over it and be happy for the ones that chose to come back. They owe us nothing

Was only a 2 year starter.

Good for Greg. Congrats. Hope that signing bonus is merely the first of many big paydays, but even if not, you can set yourself up to be secure for life with a million bucks in the bank.

as a former financial planner I agree that you CAN set yourself up for life but it is highly unlikely anyone would. it would require incredible discipline that would involve investing most of it NOW and living as if you didn't have it for a number of years. in short, many people with a lot more than a million bucks have gone belly up in short time.

With all the grief Kramer got with his hair and all, Deichmann had an abysmal postseason. Florida came right after him and he wilted. For some reason no one wants to admit that he played a big part in finishing #2 instead of #1. Should have come back.

The 42 people who gave you an up vote couldn't have read the last 4 words of your post. It's literally the dumbest thing I've read on the rant...and that's saying alot
