Defensive coaching haul allows BK to delegate and possibly shift return back to offense

Throughout this season, with the defense being as bad as it was, Brian Kelly had to focus a lot of time looking over Matt House and other coaches to try get the defense back on track. Denbrock and offensive coaches in addition to Jayden helped take some of that pressure off of him, but I believe last season and some this season, he did have to nudge Denbrock a bit in the right direction.

BK blew up the defensive side of the ball and hired the top of top he could and it will help him delegate tasks instead of having to micromanage the whole team. He can go assist the mean TEs we have and help Nuss transition into the leader of the team. If Sloan/Cortez CO-OC, the strong defensive hires allow BK to help design an offense as well.

We had flashes against shutting out auburn and even bama honestly. Overall, it was atrocious though.

I don't know what game you watched, but our defense against Bama was horrible.

We forced one punt against Bama. ONE.

We gave up 507 total yards and Bama was 11 of 14 on third down conversions.
