Anyone expecting Raydar Jones or Kylin Jackson to contribute for us much next year will be sorely disappointed.

I'm no analyst, but that dude is out of position ALOT and always seems to miss tackles and give up big plays.
MY assessment, He sucks
I'm no analyst either, but they keep trying to shove him in as a nickel.
I'm waiting to see him as true safety. If they never play him there, well I'll guess he wasn't good enough.

I feel that we know what we have with Raydar Jones. Who is to say Jackson isn’t a stud when he shows up to campus

Jones probably, but I bet Jackson and Isaac Smith compete for that SS role next season

CB1- Garner
Will be huge to get back but he probably goes to the draft.
Will get picked within the first 4 rounds imo.

Hopefully a too recruit or two at CB and probably another transfer. Hoping Banks can come back too.

What about Derrick Davis? Highly rated and never hear about him in safety rotation.
Not athletic enough to ever see the field at safety.

He’s like 5’9”. I don’t think he’s big enough to be a starting safety. Nickel is perfect for him—at least now—but when Burns gets back, Ward can play the nickel, and he’s much better there right now than Sage. And Fuchua’s back. And Brooks has been our best play-maker in the backfield—it’s gonna be interesting to see what they are able to do with all those dudes healthy and available.
This bye week is a real opportunity to see what House and co. can do to scheme against Bama with more healthy players and more time. I think the danger is over-correcting or changing the scheme too much. May just need to let your dudes just go be dudes and make big plays.
Coaching will certainly factor into who wins next Saturday, but not as much as whose playmakers go out there and make plays. We’ll see. Can’t wait.
