Although I am disgusted of how ugly it was people seem to forget we were basically missing 5 starters. Bad thing is only 2 of those 5 will be playing this year.

Yeah I get that but just can’t help to think Stingley, Vincent, Brooks, Shelvin, and Logan would have made a huge difference. Stating the obvious I know.

I think most of the defense was pretty decent. Not great, but they did make some great plays. Our secondary though looked lost, especially Evans. Of course we gave up some plays, but I think Ricks and Flott will improve greatly each game. No idea how we're so damn thin at CB though.

Gaye shouldn't come out of the game especially for 49 to come in and get a another penalty. I realize it's different schemes, but we can't afford for Gaye to not be out there.

Cox had bright moments and some missed assignments/tackles but still looked high quality SEC caliber. I think both will only be with the team this year and move to the NFL in 1st or 2nd rounds.
