Deep down the Main Reason why LSU wants Bama out of the BCS Title Game

Before I get started, for those of you who want to be total idiots and flame away for my lack of posts on this site, go ahead. I never understood why that ever mattered? Anyway, one of the main reasons why many LSU fans do not want Alabama in the BCS Title Game is simple. WE DO NOT WANT TO SHARE THE SPOTLIGHT WITH YOU! We won on November 5th and this is our time to shine away from the SEC, ALONE. We are sick and tired of Alabama period. We also don't want an entire Month of the following:
1. Hearing Saban utter the words "Aight" and "In terms of" every time he in interviewed.
2. Having Saban in our backyard recruiting and in our State newspapers on a daily basis.
3. How missed 52 yard field goals are usually chip shots.
4. The overall bias in reporting that goes with Alabam being involved in a big game.
I could go on and on, but you get the point. Bottom line is simple, LSU fans are not scared of playing Alabama because we may lose (both fan bases think they will win). Since 2000, LSU is 9-3 vs. Alabama. We just don't feel its fair to have to share the spotlight with a team we beat on the road.

Look they got their chance and they know it.
A rematch for all the marbles is total horseshite. We are not playing hoops here or 2 of 3. If we had lost the same way at home, I would never expect to have a rematch. AL blew it at home and at night.

High school students read the newspaper?

Even easier than that. Bama had a shot at lsu with a home game. OSU deserves a shot too. Why does bama get two shots and OSU never gets even one!

my reason is simple: just to piss the Gumps off

My reasoning: I want to beat as many different ranked teams as possible. I want there to be no doubt after the season is over.
I we play and beat Bama there will still be that doubt from the fact we didn't play OSU. If we play and beat OSU there will leave no room for doubt, we've already beat Bama.

And even for those LSU fans that ARE scared, it really doesn't matter as THE FANS DON'T PLAY THE GAME!!! THE TIGERS DO AND THEY AIN'T SCARED!!!
I like your reasoning ...

5. Having to hear that stupid David St. Romain "Go Tigers Beat Bama" song for the next month and half

i agree with you on your reasons. I dont even want to think about the amount of Bama cock sucking by all the "experts" and talking heads will be for the next month
not to mention the arrogant bama fans having everything go their way once again

It's gonna be a rematch... And Life isn't fair. I hope you don't tell your children otherwise.

I don't want to play Bama because they are the team that has the best chance of beating LSU. I don't want Bama because I want to win. We've already had to go through that game once. We passed the test. It's almost like double jeopardy. Why should we have to prove we're better than them twice? If both teams played each other, it would prob be 5-5. We won when it counted, and they didn't. We def can beat Bama again and are the better team, but allowing a rematch makes the first game meaningless and I have no doubts LSU wouldn't be getting the same shot if the roles were reversed. I think there's too many people who think Alabama is better than LSU and want to be proven right by allowing a rematch

Since we might as well get used to it, this mayhelp you get used to it.
Imagine THIS LSU team hearing about how Bama is the better team and will prove it on Jan 9, 2012.
After listening to it for a month, they'll destroy Bama.
Looking forward to it.

They don't deserve it
The BCS is rigged
It is what it is

I don't disagree. Those are good valid points. For me, its the fundamental idea of fairness. We already played. They have not earned the right to represent their conference. Now that OS won big, college football has another valid choice.
