So you admit to making the same thread as Chicken, add to that you have an all caps one word title. Congrats on the permaban.

You didn't read a lot of threads, then, because there have been a gazillion similar to yours.

If the next recruiting class is not what we all hoped it would be, then it decline for sure. I still think Miles will lead us to disaster eventually.

A decline happens over a couple of years. One down year does not mean we are declining.

I would ask you whether you believe the program was in decline in 2004. If you believe not, I would suggest you look at the results of the game that year against Georgia and the Citrus Bowl against an Iowa team that had lost at least its first 3 running backs.

I for one do not believe we were in decline then, and yet you would submit that we irrefutably were.

Weren't we hearing this in 08 when we loss five games? And then happened to have an undefeated regular season and title game appearance just 3 years later. Just relax. The sky isn't falling

so 4 years OUT OF THE MIX IS OK W YOU ?
..WITH THE 7TH HIGHEST PD COACH ? OOPS CAPS

we have a record w 3 losses, one more than last year ..and still 2 games to go, one is a likely win, one could be a loss.
2011- 0 losses
2012- 2 losses
2013- 3 losses- possibly 4

It appears your thread got anchored, so someone doesn't agree with you on the importance.

Les Miles is putting together a recruiting class that will top 2009 - we're going to have such a special football team the next few years.

...and yet people still insist on our "decline"

THERE IS NO DECLINE - SORRY NEGATIGERS! OPEN YOUR EYES!

What a great time to be an LSU fan!!!

Were we really out of the mix last year? We were one game winning drive away from a conference championship with a chance to go to the national championship. That's not exactly out of the mix. I'm not exactly happy with how the past couple season's have played out, but I'm not going to say that we are a sinking ship. We have an amazing class coming in that looks to turn things around

DECLINE

Every elite team as done it, including LSU. Just look at the recent BCS champions:

Tennessee - DECLINED - still hasn't gotten back to elite status. bottom pack of the SEC east.

Florida State - DECLINED - is finally getting in the BCS hunt after about a decade hiatus

Oklahoma - DECLINED - have they finished in the top 5 in the last 5+ years? they have benefited from a weak conference

Miami - DECLINED - after assembling one of the most talented teams of all time has not challenged for a championship

USC - DECLINED - program is in shambles

Florida - DECLINED - after winning 2 championships in 3 years became middle of the pack in the SEC

Texas - DECLINED - see Tennessee

Auburn - DECLINED - went from championship team to worst in the west. finally looking pretty good.

Alabama has been the anomaly. Quit whining. We are on the cusp of signing one of the best recruiting classes we've ever had, have one of the best coaching staffs in the country, and awesome facilities. We may not be challenging for a championship this year or next but we are not DECLINING in the Tennessee, USC, Texas, or Miami sense of the word
