In New Orleans, I've typically parked at the hotel that I was staying. On this trip, I'm arriving Monday around noon and headed to the French Quarter. Not staying overnight. Any tips on places to park?

Well, I'll give you the same answer I gave everyone else who asked, although this might not be your best option because of traffic.

If you park in the Harrah's parking garage, and then go inside and sign up for their free VIP card, then play anything for 30 minutes you park for free. That's always my go to option, even if I just sit at a penny machine for 30 minutes. You can park for a few bucks, or maybe win a few bucks to park. The drawback here is that idk how traffic would be trying to leave after the game from right there. If you were staying, it is easily one of the cheapest, safest, best options for parking.

Park at my mom's house in Terrytown. Give her $10-20. Lyft to game.

So are you going to the game or not? If you are I’d park in the Warehouse District in one of the many lots or on the street at a meter using the ParkMobile app. It’s easier to escape to the interstate post game, especially if you park facing that direction, ie not having to head towards the CBD and turn around. Just keep in mind that Convention Center Blvd. is all messed up so I wouldn’t get any closer to the river than Tchoupitoulas St.
If you’re just going to hang out in the FQ I’d look to park somewhere around Elysian Fields avoiding game traffic with easy access to interstate.

I generally park on one of the side streets in the Garden District............for free...........and then ride the streetcar to Poydras. Then just walk the four blocks to the dome. Streetcar cost $1.25.

I park in the surface lot at S Villere and Cleveland. Three blocks from the dome and right next to 1-10 on ramp at Tulane Ave.
