Death Valley’s grounds crew

Overlooked note, but our players barely slipped this game after a nice downpour throughout the day. The field was great and played well, shoutout to the grounds crew

For certain it was a huge improvement over previous years. It’s been a while since the field has held up so well.

I fully expected the field conditions to be slop after that downpour but it held up well.

Had more to do with the 90+min delay after the mini tsunami I think.

yrs ago the entire field was torn up and sand layers were created Field rebuilt inches above the sand bed. Will

One of the talking heads kept reassuring the others about the field and how good it was going to be.

Booger said it’s better than any NFL or college surface he’s ever played on. Presumably because of the crown and short cut. I think they also installed some fancy drainage system beneath the surface a few years back.
