I just watched both the College football final and SEC finals show. Both said the LSU defense played lights out. ??

If that's what they said and you didn't mishear, that's just crazy talk. LSU did a good job of slowing their run game down which was nice after the debacle at Kentucky, and one of Florida's touchdowns was on a hail mary. Mullen can coach offense, there's no doubt about that, so it's not as bad a performance as the Kentucky game. Plus, you had the taunting penalty that hurt LSU on a touchdown drive. Corners played hard, sometimes you just get beat like McGlothern did on Copeland's late touchdown.

4 turnovers and slowing their run game down is nice, but it was FAR from lights out, it was like a knife through butter in the second half once Richardson started to heat up. But again, Mullen can coach.

Not really, he’s missing 5 starters on defense.
