He sure looks the part if nothing else. The kid is a monster among huge men. He won’t challenge Charles for his LT spot but I really hope he takes this position change seriously and does all he can to learn the technique. He wanted to play DL but the coaches rightfully told him with his size he could make millions at LT in the NFL. Hopefully he will get some game experience this year because that’s really the only way he will progress. He will still only be a redshirt sophomore when Charles graduates giving him 2-3 years to be the starting LT.

His development is very important to our success this season and beyond. He is built for LT.

The one thing I noticed was the length of his arms. On one run play his elbows were bent and his arms were still longer than the DL. He had his way with him.

Tons of potential. A lot of work to do. Hopefully by mid season he will be LT and Charles RT

I hope this kid can contribute.

My contribution is to add an accent to the e in Dare.

Dare Rosenthal will toil in obscurity.
Daré Rosenthal is CFB HOF material.

Just sayin’

Wouldn't Ferriday be Central Louisiana? ?

Not by any measure, no. Ferriday is part of the ArkLaMiss, 35 minutes from the town I grew up in. All North La all the way.

Sometimes he would look stiff and slow coming out of his stance and other times he would pop right up and show good footwork.

Yea, that's what I noticed too. Not sure if he was uncertain on his blocking assignment or what? But he did good with his blocks, showed good footwork and technique. I think he is a year or 2 away from being a dominate lineman, but the physical part is there.

When I look at a map I clearly see Alexandria centrally located. Hence: Cenla. Is my Louisiana education failing me?
