A lot of fans don’t understand that because they think you simply throw it over their heads to our star WRs if defenses do that. They fail to realize what a small percentage of plays that entails over a game and season. The throws he has to make are the 12-20 yard stick throws with help defenders in the area. Those are the bulk of the difficult throws you have to make vs SEC defenses, not chucking up bombs every other play.

Case in point. A moron raises his hand to prove my point.

It worked well for us in 2011

Will be fun watching him run.

Ok so when I start making up shite about you there better not be any pushback. You’ve condoned the behavior by excusing yourself from it.

This has got to be the dumbest shite I have ever read on here.
You gonna sit there and say Jayden Daniels is a pro style passer?

A running QB is a QB that can run.

If that’s your definition then ok. Usually it means they can’t throw

Were you bullish on Myles being the guy? Just be honest

And depending on how the quarterbacks look- it'll probably be a long season.

But Silver spoon Brennan would have made it all better right? BK is paid 20 mil a year and made his decision

Like I said go check the posts. I’ve given pros and cons for all 3 and never predicted a starter. What you’re talking about is my comments on his stats and tape from 2020 which are facts. Stating those facts in response to people bashing Brennan and dismissing them isn’t being “bullish on him starting”. Are you gonna tell me there haven’t been unreasonable and personal attacks on Brennan? On all of them?

“But Silver spoon Brennan would have made it all better right?”
Oh ok, it all makes sense now.

This is starting his 4th year and he is what he is at this point.
People don't like to hear that but I'm not here to stroke any egos

Maybe he has fixed some of his issues but all 3 years he struggled in pocket with his progressions.
Yet you said this about Myles Brennan just a few weeks ago.

Please explain to the board as to why Brennan was supposed to be this cerebral QB? What in his play allowed you to form your opinion?
Also, why do feel Brennan had the ability to improve at the position after 5 years in the program yet you don't give Daniels that same opportunity? You have gone on for days now jumping in every QB thread, shitting on Daniels.

This is the Rant. There will always be unjustified attacks on players. The personal attacks on players & their families cross the line imo.
With that said, there's nothing wrong with criticism of a player's on field play especially when the criticism is backed up. Just like Max Johnson had obvious flaws in his game, (average arm strength, poor pocket awareness, struggled pre & post reads) a lot of posters tried to use stats & numbers as evidence against those flaws.
The fact is the truth boils down to consistency at the position. Max made some good plays & reads at times but the mistakes always would pop up at crucial moments in the game or lead to a crucial turnover. There weren't consistent positive plays that showcased an ability to improve & become consistent. Going back to 2020, Myles showed us all those same flaws except Myles had above average arm strength. Going back to his game against Miss St. in 2020, Myles struggled seeing the entire field, struggled with pre & post snaps reads, held on the to ball too long while missing open receivers downfield, was inaccurate which lead him to leave numerous plays on the field despite what he final stats looked like.

That’s incorrect and off topic so I’ll leave it at that.
