People have been saying this about Hunter since day 1.

If the light doesn't come on soon, I think it's time to start wondering if it ever will.

Are you saying that you would take 73 tackles in a year plus 14 tfls instead of just 14 sackes with no additional tackles? Of course you would, anyone would. Why would that be the trade off?

Im saying id 70 tackles and 13 tfls
Over the normal 35 tackles and 10 sacks.
70 tackles as a de is rare.

70 tackles 13 tfl and 1.5 sacks

Over
30-35 tackles 13tfl and 8-9 sacks.

Rick (or Rick's dad), you so crazy. gimme them sacks, baw. probably means that we got off the field a few more times, and teams had to account for my sackmaster DE.

Good for him. Another wasted, underutilized talent under Chavis

And Brick.

Chavis deserves some credit for some great defenses, but he regressed after 2011. His recruiting was nonexistent.

I'm sure Brick was a nice guy, but the d-line suffered badly during his time as coach.

40 more tackles at the de position is far more production and its not close. 8-9 sacks for a de isnt rare. 70 tackles the dline is.

8-9 sacks is some sack master and it only effects 8-9 plays and in no way does it mean you got off the field. Youre presuming these sacks came on 3rd down.
70 tackles for a de is elite.
8-9 sacks isnt.

He had 6 sacks last year and was on the PFWA all-rookie team despite not picking up significant PT until the later part of the season because he came in raw.

It was a coaching issue more than a light coming on issue. The Vikings coaches said it at the start of last season and his growth last year proved it.

Tackles are worthless if you're 8 yards up field.

Guy never was a good pass rusher here and it clearly wasn't his fault. That being said you are in the minority

You act like a de was 8 yards up field all the time.

70 tackles for a de is more valuable than 30 tackles and 8 sacks.
