So saying things like, "It is a huge, well deserved honor" to you is leaving no doubt that Wade and Dale Brown hate each other?
It's amazing to me that some of you can hear this and still somehow twist it into what you want to believe.

So far he is not even as good as Brady. Let's see him make a final four then we can talk. Right now he recruits well, not blue blood great, but better than anyone since Daddy Dale, otherwise, he does not look like a better coach than Dale. Plus, I knew Dale in the day and he was a wonderful, wonderful man who cared about his players on and off the court.

No question this is true. But he also had instances of incredible over achievement with lesser talented teams. Too many people do not point this out. All I know, is because of Dale Brown I got to watch Rudy Macklin, deWayne Scales, John Williams, Jerry Reynolds, Chris Jackson and Shaq (not to mention many others) play basketball for my school. I will be eternally grateful for that.

First of all it's the question and answer in context that tell the story and honestly it's pretty simple and clear.
Secondly I never said anything of the sort that WW's answer means they hate each other - I think things are being read into what I posted that really are not there, if you want to bring up twisting things.
My point was that it was clear from the context of the question and answer that there is an issue in their relationship...there is a clear deflection of the question from where the reporter wants it to go to what the answer is.
Look - it is what it is - the relationship is frosty between Dale and WW - everybody that has paid attention knows that. Not sure why or what set of circumstances led to it and not trying to blame either of them - but it's clearly evident.
