Some of you guys are missing that Dabo is talking to his team more than the press most of the time. He has to try and convince them they can stop our offense, especially after they look at our film, stats etc., so he compares us to Bama and finds one stat that Tua was better in and they beat them last year. Otherwise these guys are defeated mentally at the task of stopping us before they walk on the field. It's just a way to prop up his team's confidence and truth be told he's probably scared to death of Joe and our offensive precision. He is a master motivator, I'll give him that.

I saw that segment and it most definitely was "Tus is best, I would take him before Burrow" shade being thrown...
...and I can't give you the exact quote, but he specifically did say something to the effect that Tua's overt religious crap was one of the reasons he was better- he either said "his faith" or "his witness" when listing his superior attributes.
I'm reminded of a favorite quote about religion:
"Religion is like a penis- its perfectly OK if you have one, or even that you're terribly fond of it... but if you take it out and wave it in my face then we have a problem."

WTH is wrong with this board? Nowhere in the video does Dabo mention or talk about JB or say anything to the effect he would draft Tua above JB. Where’s the shade? Because he was asked a question by a reporter about Tua and then complimented him??? There are now literally pages of posts the last couple of days about taking anything Dabo says as “whining” and turning it into some sort of disrespectful comment about LSU or some LSU player and then some sort of statement that Dabo will pay for his comment on Monday.
The only whining here are the three pages of posts whining about something Dabo didn’t say or do.

Cut Dabo some slack - he's scared.
Like a frightened dog. They always bark the loudest. (and sometimes they whine the loudest)

Probably has more to do with the fact that he and Tua wear their faith on their sleeve. Birds of a feather...

You're just as pathetic on this board as you are on the PTB.
Must suck to be you, Loserman.

But this is clearly throwing shade and acting like Burrow is inferior IMO
And, any objective person (which, by definition, excludes Bama fans) can see that Burrow won every award a QB could win this year - and by a landslide.
Deservedly so. The numbers are beyond gaudy. Even if he was the QB of another team, I would be on the "Burrow is the GOAT college QB" train.
And he is.

He doesn't specifically say anything bad about Burrow but if you watch his words and his signals I think he's saying Tua is better
Then what was the point of the thread?
