I'm glad Southern is so improved. That new coach has done a hell of a job coming in and fixing that program after the poor end to Cador's great career there.

I doesn't seem like they would send Cal all the way to Baton Rouge when they were already here earlier this year.

The only West Coast teams that will be hosting will be Pac 12 teams aside from possibly UCSB. So teams like Cal will have to travel somewhere.

SEC should get 3 teams for sure. UGA and Vandy would really have to fall apart to not get two of them. Winner of the west possibly gets the other. We will have every opportunity to make our way into the top 8 in the coming weeks.

Looking at their remaining schedule, I'd be shocked if Vandy doesn't win the league. After hosting Auburn this weekend, they play @SC, @UK and host Missouri.

you are indeed correct in my choice of wording...Baylor certainly is not west coast. I was thinking far west Texas, but I still missed the mark a tad as I was never good with geography...

I agree. The SEC should and will get 3 national seeds. Two will be from the east because that side of the conference is so down. The west will get the other one with only 19 wins.
