I appreciate every single thing Demetrius did while at LSU and will never forget how integral he was in the 2007 NC. But I also will never forget the night after a game this past year when I saw him park his Mustang in the middle of W. Parker to talk to someone, while the traffic backed up all the way to Highland. After finishing up his five minute conversation, his response to the honking horns of fans who had just paid to see him play, and I quote: "I don't care how long ya'll be having to wait".

So yeah, he may want to work on his attitude just a tad.

Nah, fans don't forget plays like that. He will always be a Tiger. Every body was disappointed with the way things went last year.

Good Luck to the Byrdman.

Thanks Cord. Keep us Byrd fans updated and ignore the rest. Many of us Tiger fans remember and appreciate all Byrd has done for the Tigers. Without Byrd, no National Championship. He was getting plenty of love from them when he caught the pass in the corner of the endzone in front of them in the Auburn game with 4 seconds left. How soon the children forget. Heal fast, fly far, soar high Byrd.

some fans just forget everything done by some players. Everyone forgets these are college students who sometimes makes mistakes. I'm not talking bout just byrd but other players too. It's a shame it really is.

Thanx DB, a Tiger forever!

4.28 will be impressive. last year-
Chris Johnson 4.24
McFadden 4.33
DeSean Jackson 4.35
Jamaal Charles 4.38
Eddie Royal 4.39
Donnie Avery 4.40
2007
Chris Henry 4.30
Calvin Johnson 4.35
Robert Meachem 4.39
Adrian Petersen 4.40
Craig Davis LSU 4.46

Since leaving I can't say he's boosted his public relations/draft stock by changing his MySpace from an all LSU go team look to a background of I Got A Suitcase Full of Money and his self describing statement as "I aint got no (GBG) bt I fricks witem, Go Hard Nigg s"
No dissin GHN but scouts look these prospects over in detail now. Being an early 2nd Rd pic to a late 3rd is millions of $ diff.

Thanks for the update cord. For all the haters, we lose to Bama, Auburn, and possibly Tennessee and Florida and probably don't make it to OT against Arkansas without Byrd in 2007...

Rueben Randle, Trent Richardson, Russell Sheperd or any other highly ranked athlete can expect the same belittling treatment from tigernation. That is just the way we are.

wrong try again. the reason byrd takes heat is bc many believe he started half assing it on lee. also his lil shouting match with coaches during games didn't help his cause with the fans while he dropped ball after ball bc he was short arming them. He was suppose to be a leader but to most he gave up on the team until jj was put in. I love what he did for us in 07 and when he played hard in 08 it was good.

Really fast WR who short-arms ball and has questionable attitude? Doesn't handle adversity worth a damn! I probably wouldn't hire him to bartend a party, much less pay him a ton of money to attempt to catch footballs...Questionable HEART!
