I find this very interesting. Why didn't Miles just turn to one of the 4 offensive assistant coaches on the sideline standing right next to him and use their head set to talk to Crowton???

Dont know, all I know is he said he had taken off his headset at that point, could not communicate with GC, so he called a running play to Ridley. And it worked.

Are we sure?? Miles clearly lied about not having headphones!
Info from press conference from other posts:

at the end of the conference, some dude goes up asking about the headphones at the end of the game "were they disconnected?" les explains they were just taken off, not disconnected, then the feed cuts out.
&
He was asked why he didn't have a headset.

He responded with he took it off but said someone next to him had one but he "heard that he couldn't hear" (because of the noise) that's all I got

See LINK at about 2:42 He clearly has them on in the huddle just before the last play.

It worked with the defense mabye it would work with the offense. Better than living it the way it is. Not saying it is perfect.

It depends on what kind of offense Will Muschamp decides to run

Gonzales. No established, high profile coordinator would take the job knowing what a precarious situation Miles could be in next year. I just don't see one of those guys taking a chance on being one & done.

nobody with any sense will want to come to work for a offensive control freak like CLM and not only that it will probably only be a temporary gig...

im afraid we will have to settle..

Now we are probably on to what happens. Miles knows Crowton is this year's scapegoat.
Can we just get somebody that can help our QBs understand what is going down on the field?
