Are you under the impression that Crowton is the coach that decides which QB gets the snaps?
Porter decided which RB got the snaps....

I'm not at all convinced that the play calling is that much different than it has been, although I am certainly not all-knowing. I DO think that Lee sees more opportunities that unfold on the field in passing plays than Jefferson ever will. He also has much better timing, IMO. Having said that, I believe Jefferson played much better last night than he has since UNC.

I also think Miles is the coach that called all of those running plays last night in the final possession.
There were over 3 minutes left on the clock. I had no problem with the final drive.

Guys, what is in the kool-aid you are drinking! Enjoy the anticipated 7-0 start!! We have elite talent and an average OC; combined with a starting QB who needs to run a High School version of he Wing-T...do you not anticipate specific plays once you see the personnel in the game? So, if we see it, opponent's coaches obviously do...that falls to the feet of GC. We need an upgrade there, even if JL allows us to expand GC's playbook

JL is risky with the football.
Why do people still believe JL is riskier than JJ. Per pass attempts JJ % is year is greater than JL was in 2008 and JJ has been starting for 1 1/2 years. This would make JJ the riskier QB to put in the game.

I understand and agree. But if you have noticed, since they started the rotation JJ has thrown less deeper into the game. In the 4th Q yesterday he was in to protect the ball and bleed clock...until the KO return. They gave him nothing risky to do.
JL tends to chuck it up for grabs...see UT game...when pressure comes.
Best example was the 4 th Q last night when JJ took a sack. I hate getting sacked but against UF I was glad it was JJ in the game because I don't trust JL in that situation to not chuck that ball downfield. I don't think the coaches trust him either.

Exactly, So why do people say that JJ is the safer play. Quite frankly when JJ is in the game and running the ball, He is taking running opportunities from the great RB's that we have. This could give Ridley, Ford, and Ware more carries. I would rather them running than JJ

Having considered this at length, I do believe that LM is the one who insists on starting and playing Mr. Jefferson. To me, this is coaching's version of insanity. Do the same thing over and over and over and over, then wonder why if fail...

While I don't entirely disagree with your claim, it can't be proven and if true, it can be rationalized. Since January 2007, we've gone from starting Perrilloux, to starting Hatch, to starting Lee, to starting Jefferson. I think more than anything else, the coaching staff, or Miles as you want to perceive it, was trying to establish stability at the position.
That said, our offense clicked in 2008 and in these last two games while being stagnant all of 2009 and on our way to a 4-0 record. While I think we'll continue to use the 2-QB system for quite some time, I don't think there can be any doubt left as to who needs to be in for the majority of snaps.

3-10, 30yds, 2 int is not what most of picture as "stability" now is it?

You're trying to provide an argument against stability by one game? Jefferson has started something like 20.

One game???
He is without doubt statistically, the worst QB in the SEC. He seems to lack leadership. He is indecisive and cannot THROW a football.
He has worsened with each game except last night, but LSU won despite this. His presence in the line up is a hindrance to offensive success. Further, he seems to have a questionable attitude. In short, he is not needed on the team in his present capacity. Now, this is not to say he could not be a decent scout QB, but...

I didn't say that he had stabilized the passing game, I said he had stabilized the position. ANYONE on our roster could have come in and done what he has done... he hasn't impressed, he's probably held the team back. My point is that he's likely been playing simply to give the team a figurehead to rally behind. We needed an identity at quarterback and he provided it.
The events of this season have shown that there is another QB on the roster that the team rallies behind and plays well to boot. I don't think there is any reason that Lee won't now become the feature of the 2-QB system.

I thought crowton lined us up in the "I" and ran it streight up the big arse middle too much on 1st down in the 2nd 1/2.Anyone else see it this way ?? It put us in 2nd and long lots of times.I think the play calling did inprove some .I would like to see run plays on first down out of some formation other than the "I" .If no other reason than too keep the other teams from just sticking 8 in the box...

I believe crowton would like J Lee in the game all of the time. It's obvious the playcalling is different with Lee in the game
the question is would he have JLee trying to do too much without Les dialing him back some (if, in fact, Les is dialing him back)

Can we just go ahead and stop saying this? It's not 2008 anymore.
